Ask for help... It could just start the biggest turnaround that you have been waiting for...

Ask for help... Seems such a simple thing to say, a simple request and yet how many of you find it really hard?  How many think that they are showing weakness?  That they can't cope?  Are worried what others may think?

Or are you one of the many that just do not know who to ask or how?

As mentioned in a previous post I was one of the many that never asked for help... nope I could do it all by myself thank you very much, I could cope with every situation, every circumstance..... except I couldn't.  There comes a time in most peoples lives where this is the case.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness at all in fact personally I think it is the opposite, it takes a brave person to show vulnerability and ask someone for help.

You may be talented in so many ways, you may have a high IQ, great interpersonal skills, have the top education, have an amazing job, earn a crazy amount of money, have wonderful children and an amazing partner... You still need help, sometimes.

After all, others maybe able to show you a quicker, better way of doing a job, a task, a life skill.  Someone, somewhere always has a better way.

Ask for guidance

What if you do not know who to ask for help with.... (fill in the blank), then take some quiet time, close your eyes and ask your guides/the universe/your Angels/God (whichever term you are more comfortable with)for guidance on who to approach about.... (fill in the blank).  Try not to think, whoever first comes into your mind is the person you need, do not try to reason, argue etc... even if you think it is not the right person.  If it was the first person that popped into your mind then Trust.  Approach that person and ask for help.

Help attracts Help

Here is the strange part about asking for help, when you get help, you get more help and even more help. Have you ever experienced that?  You start getting help form one person and then it just seems to start a roll?  Well, this is because once again of the law of attraction, like attracting like.  This usually happens quickly too, as when you receive help you are more than likely to be feeling grateful, happier and so that helps to manifest your thoughts quicker.

You will open doors and windows you never knew were there.

Once you start opening up to the value of receiving help form others you will find that it will open doors and windows that you never knew existed.  For example, you ask for guidance about finding a plumber but you also know that this month money is tighter than usual so you ask

"dear,.... Spirits/guardians/Guides/Angels/Spirits etc.... Please lead me a highly skilled plumber that can work to my tight budget"  Then you find out that a friend of the friend is happy to do the work and you just need to cover materials.  You meet the plumber and you talk about all sorts including your job of which you mention you would much rather be.... that person says it just so happens I know someone looking for.... (basically you).

If you had not asked for guidance and help you would have missed an opportunity for a happier career.

Synchronicities like this happen all the time and they all start by asking for help, somewhere along the line :-)

Is it time to have a Clothes Clear out? Here is one with a difference...

When was the last time you had a clothes clear out?  A wardrobe haul, a closet make over?

How many times have you recently opened the doors taken one look at your clothes and heaved a sigh?  If you answered often then you are like many others.  There is a tendency for many to keep clothes that are too small (in the hope that one day they will fit into them again) only to look upon them and then subconsciously feel bad about yourself.

Sometimes you may also have clothes that well... just do not make you feel great !

The Solution

The Solution... Give your wardrobe a "all my clothes Love me" make over...  Yep, that is right, go through every item and have three piles.  The "These clothes make me feel great pile", "the these clothes did make me feel great when I was a size"... and a "these clothes do not make me feel great pile".

The next step is really simple - all the clothes that make you feel great now, go back into your wardrobe.  All the clothes that did make you feel great (but do not fit perfectly) store away, either in a loft, understairs cupboard etc... but somewhere out of sight.  The clothes pile for the These do not make me feel great, donate to friends, charity etc... but do not have them hanging around more than a few days unless you really have too (such as your friend is picking them up in a week or two).

The Transformation

Now, every time you awake and get dressed you will have all clothes that make you feel great meaning your day can start so much more positive.  This is such a simple step but can make a dramatic shift in your life.  You will feel happier in yourself, about yourself.  You will feel more confident and because your day has started in a positive way you will naturally attract more positivity towards you!

Amazing right?!

I was so pleased when I did this recently and it gave such a relief during the process.  Plus it has given me a better start to my day everyday.

What are your vibes? Sonia Choquette Your Psychic Pathway...

Now, you may have been wondering whether my divine messages have still been coming through, whether they are still prominent or whether they had wained.  Yesterday's post was about the Law of attraction and reminiscing on my Facilitators course with Michael Losier in 2008.

Well, my next intuition came shortly after writing that post and it was audio books.... As I mentioned in one of my previous posts with four children, three of them being 3 and under time for myself can be in short supply, however house work isn't so audible books seems like a good choice of being able to learn, be inspired etc... and yet continue with my usual day.

Amazon has an audible subscription with a free 30 day trial and a free book.  I looked through, listened to a number of samples and then settled on "Your Psychic Pathway" by Sonia Choquette.

Well at the end of chapter one Sonia speaks extensively about "Vibes" I lead you back to Michael whose whole Law of Attraction teachings are on vibes....

Thank you once again to my wonderful messengers showing me the path, the next step along this journey.  Helping me to reconnect.

What always strikes me when I listen to another's story, their journey is yet again how much we all have similar experiences.  We have similar experiences and yet have different styles and ways of explaining it and this is so important.  As a trainer I know all to well how important it is to teach/train/inspire to cater for all learning styles.  This is why we naturally gravitate to certain people.  They write, say, express things in a way that we understand and yet your best friend/family member/colleague could whole heartedly disagree and recommend another whose message is similar but approached in a different style or method.

All of the authors, speakers, teachers, ministers, psychics etc... all give us something, evidence time and time again.  They give us the evidence in different ways so the message can reach as many people as possible, for the more people reached, the more people that can influence their life by desire/thought and the happier they will be, the happier you will be, the happier we will all be.

Vibes, mind your own vibration...

So, back to vibes, why are they so important.  Vibes is a shortened version of vibrations which in it's simplest description means energy.  Feeling the energy that is around you, your energy, others energy, atmospheric energy.  Have you ever walked into a room and said oooh there are horrible vibes in there and then walked out of the room?  Then you have sensed negative energy.

Likewise have you ever gravitated to a room or person as they felt light/happy/joyous, that is positive energy.  You can meet some people and you feel energised after being in their presence, in this case their positive energy has had a "recharging your batteries" type of effect and again likewise on the reverse side you can sometimes feel very drained by people and in that case they have drained your energy.

Energy is actually an easier demonstration for me.  It is something that clients and audiences are skeptical off when I first start speaking and then I show physically how I can easily make someones body weaker just by disrupting the flow of energy in their body.... Watch out for a future youtube video giving a visual of this.

What are your vibes

Why you need to be in-tune with your Vibes?

Your vibes are your own inner way of having foresight, they are there to help guide you to know you are heading in the right direction or that you need to change course.  If you are feeling good you are receptive to your positive vibes. How many times have you been in a situation where you felt like you needed to get out of it but you let your Mind override that as being foolish or weak, or you needed to step up?  Only to then experience that you should have obeyed your instincts/your vibes!

If you start to pay attention and really notice your vibes you will find that they are the best guide you can have. This is pretty much the first way you can connect to inner knowing.  The more you notice and act on the information received the closer you will also get to feeling the messages and "vibes" from your guides, the external messages that take your intuition even further.

I am exciting for you, excited as I know how well this works and I have seen time after time at how much just paying attention to your vibes can change your life.  How it can help turn a corner and can be the start of a beautiful, freeing life.

I look forward to hearing from you, hearing about your experiences with this.  Do leave a comment or head on over to my facebook page and do give me a like - Thank you

The Law of Attraction

There is so much more information widely available now regarding the law of attraction, what it is and how to use it to improve your life.

Back in November 2008 I had the honour and privilege to attend Michael Losiers Law of Attraction Facilitator course in Vancouver Canada. His course was amazing - in fact he is amazing.  I have so much love and respect for him and his family and since meeting them they all have a special place in my heart.  I also had the pleasure of meeting Linda Storey an NLP Coach, another wonderful and talented lady with whom I could listen for hours.

Law of Attraction Michael Losier
Michael Losier and Linda Storey Nov 2008
Law of Attraction Michael Losier
Myself and Linda Storey Nov 2008
However, for me personally I have been in and out with the law of attraction.  Firstly I am inconsistent (big flaw) secondly, I never truly new exactly what I wanted... it would change so often that I am sure the Universal Law got whiplash and then thought - you know what why don't we just wait until she has made up her mind! lol  Ok, all joking aside I was constantly contradicting for example - I would think of the perfect house, I would have visuals of it, the amazing feelings as if it was already mine and then a few days later be thinking but there is no way I can have that house, perhaps I am being Greedy, I mean it would cost... which means I would need a job paying......

Okay, I am sure I need not go on for you to see the pattern of undoing the law of attraction.  AND because I was inconsistent, I attracted more inconsistencies.

Once again to harp on a bit like a broken record but once again the issue was not loving myself, not thinking I deserved it, or was worthy... This has been a continuous and consistent pattern throughout my life and lets face it the one thing I was being consistent on has been what has held me back.

I was also a qualified EFT practitioner and although I had helped many others with these issues, I did not manage to clear them on myself and again I can clearly see why.  When working with a Client for EFT I can see, feel and know when they are trying to avoid an issue, or skirting around it.  As a practitioner I was there to help guide them safely to knowing that can deal with it directly, right at the source of the issue.  When working on myself I could happily skirt around the issues and avoid the source!

So, in a nut shell, if you are stuck, you have tried using the Universal Law, the Law of Attraction, the Law of thoughts and manifestations and it has not been working out for you the way you have wanted I would 99% say with confidence that there are issues regarding self-worth that you need to work on first... After all you cannot attract something to yourself if you feel you do not deserve it.

Law of Attraction

In Michael's Book he has a wonderful exercise called Clarity through Contrast.  It basically suggests that as most of us know what we don't want we can find what we do want through contrast.

Law of Attraction Michael Losier

This is a great exercise to do to then work out affirmations which are personal to you. Ones that feel right, ones that are connected to you and so will work faster and better.

I have revisited Michael's course and all the amazing things I learnt at the time.  Sometimes even though you think you are ready there is resistance and there was for me.  I am so fortunate that that is clearing out of the way.  If this has been happening to you and you have wondered "if this whole law of attraction stuff really works" it does, of course it does, we see proof and evidence of this all around the world, if it is currently not happening for you then it is as I said, issues within yourself that you need to clear first to give you the freedom to allow the Law of Attraction to work for you.

Need to Loose Weight? Love yourself first, Want a great Relationship? Love yourself first...

Are you like me and need to loose a few pounds?  (Ok, in my case more than a few!) Or perhaps you are wishing to have a great relationship, perfect job, wonderful house, what ever it happens to be if it has not been happening for you then look within... Look at whether you love yourself...

I am not talking of the "Oh my, aren't I wonderful", or the "I can do anything and everything" (whilst feeling that secretly you can't).  No, I am not coming from the I need to prove something I am coming from the loving acceptance that you love who you are right now, perceived faults and all.

I have been needing to lose weight for awhile and every time I have got to the that's it moment, I seem to have gained weight and not lost it.

Has this happened to you?  Then maybe like me you have just not been loving yourself first?  There is an amazing resource on this by Louise Hay in "You Can Heal Your Life".  I realised when reading this book that I always put myself last, put myself down, and I had avoided mirrors for a number of years.  Not that long ago when I was already really feeling as though I needed to make a change I started to run a make up company in the hope that it would bring me out of the rut of how I felt about myself and I would feel more beautiful... Now, I can understand how backwards this was and also why it did not work.

After all trying to feel good on the outside was not making me feel good on the inside.  I needed to feel good on the inside and then I would feel good on the outside.  This would then provide the encouragement and motivation to lovingly do something about the weight loss.  You see when you truly love who you are a shift in energy and perception happens, you no longer feel as though you cannot go out in public, or that you should not wear... or that you would rather avoid group situations through embarrassment of self, instead you embrace them.

You embrace the outdoors for all the fresh air and clarity of mind it brings with the added bonus of healthy exercise.  You no longer feel as though "you are not fit enough to attend ..... class"  or that "you are not worthy enough to.... fill in the blank"  You accept that you are amazing, that your health is benefiting from this change in consciousness and that your body is already benefiting from this change.

Louise is super hot on Mirror work and I can completely understand why.  By really looking yourself in the mirror and loving yourself, you are profoundly accepting you, how beautiful you are, how amazing you are, how amazing your skin is, your hair is etc...

If you have been locked in a perpetual cycle of self-criticism, self-doubt and self-loathing then this will take practice and patience.  There are two ways that are really effective for this.  Firstly look at yourself as a child, after all would you tell your child-self that you are ugly, fat, worthless etc.... for the majority of us this would be a resounding NO and rightly so, I am not sure where the tables flip and we think it is Okay for us to do this to ourselves as adults but I digress.  Look at your child-self in the mirror and say affirmations like "I love you, I love my smile, I love how my hair shines, I love the sparkle in my eyes and anytime your focus switches to the negative breathe and let that go and focus on the positives.

The second method is just purely focus on the good things about you and increase those everyday.  I love my skin, I love that I am ageing gracefully, I love how my body is healthy and happy.  I love how I am taking care of myself etc... etc... there are many affirmations in Louise's book which are wonderful and very helpful.

I noticed that when I first started this that I had so much self-destruction that before, had been going on un-noticed, it had clearly been happening so much that it was a habit.  Not only that but I would constantly be thinking of how fat I was, especially if I caught my reflection.... So, if I am constantly being self-destructive AND concentrating on being fat, ummmm hello, it is no wonder the pounds continued to pile on!

A shift in Thought's and Feelings

Now, there is one really significant point to make and this goes for any change you wish to make, whether it be weight loss, landing the perfect job, beginning a new relationship that compliments you, you need to not just change your thoughts you need to change how you feel and you need to be consistent.  For example if I was to be looking in the mirror and I start with Traci, I love you and in my head I feel puh, what is there to love about you... then clearly I am not aligned and all the words in the world are not going to help!  You need to feel the love.  Are you as critical of others as you are yourself?  I would think not.  Show yourself some love, some compassion and really feel it, once you start and consistently do this day after day after day it then forms a new habit, one that instead of working against you is working FOR YOU.

I for one am fully embracing this change and I have noticed a markable difference in my demeanour, my body and my mental self.  Now, we do also need to be sensible and recognise that you are unlikely to drop a few stone overnight!  However, you will see a difference but the difference you first see will not be your size, it will be the outer glow that you now have ;-)

It's a leap of faith.... Admitting your true self

Telling people that you are "spiritual" is a leap of faith let alone telling people that actually there is an after life and you have communicated with people and seen the evidence.  Then top that off with you have been experiencing a spiritual journey really is a leap of faith.

Trusting that you are on the right path and knowing that the people that are meant to be in your life will be the ones that will stay and understanding that the ones that don't weren't meant too.

I was reading the rest of "You Can Create an Exceptional Life" by Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson when I text a friend just to say I love you, I know we do not always talk often but I appreciate you and you and your family are always in my thoughts.

This was not a message sent in expectation of a reply it was just sent with love and appreciation. However, I did receive a reply and one part of it said " I have read your new blog, it is interesting".

This is where I need to confess.  I knew I needed to do this blog, it is part of the path, I know that because I again "feel it" in every cell of my body but to say I was nervous is an understatement.  Yes, I know I need to trust and trust I do (otherwise I would never have started) BUT, I still did not add it to my Traci Cornelius blog.... So of course there is still doubt.  What if people think I am crazy, that I have lost the plot or even worse that I have made it all up, what if I am not qualified to relay this information.... WHOOOOOOAAAAA

This is where I have to stop, breathe, and breathe deeply.  This has been played out before me and I am lucky, very lucky. Not just because it has helped me to feel complete but because I know that this is going to help someone else. Somewhere, Someone who is reading these words.  Hopefully more than one but even if this helps just one person then it is still so much bigger than me.  It is bigger than my ego, bigger than my problems, bigger than my concerns.

When I feel panicky that the world as I know it could come tumbling down now that I have opened up to express this journey I say this to myself:-

"Thank you for all the positive people in my life that love me and accept me for who I am and the message I bring"

This affirmation instantly brings peace.  It can sometimes be hard confessing to all at large that you are not quite the same as society dictates you should be.  But if you are in a similar position where you are opening up and telling those who you really are have conviction my friend. Conviction that you are being true to yourself, that you love yourself.

Repeat the affirmation as often as needed:-

"Thank you for all the positive people in my life that love and accept me for who I am"

Leap of Faith

And release those that are unable too with love.  This is just as important, yes I understand it can be frustrating but if you get frustrated that is an emotion which is hurting you.  So release it.

"Thank you for helping me to release those that were once friends/family/..... with love and I wish them growth and happiness"

If you wish to be specific then say :-

"Thank you for helping me to release ...... (insert name) I send them Love, Growth and happiness"

This takes practice, it is not the easiest part for us to change overnight, to wish Love, Light, Happiness, Growth, Prosperity etc... on those that say ill of us, for those that hurt us.  But even from a young age I knew that hating someone did more harm to yourself than it ever did to them.  Having negative thoughts towards another is like drinking poison to hurt them, of course this does nothing to the intended but has devastating effects on you.  I think there is something about that in a play or book.  If you know the resource please do let me know in the comments section.

I wish you nothing but Love, Light, Laughter and Growth as you embrace and love who you truly are.

You need to kiss a whole lot of frogs....

It would be wonderful if we were born, grew up in the perfect home with perfect parents, amazing friends, brilliant schooling and then landed the perfect job.  Met the perfect partner, had perfect children and so on and so forth.  However, for the most of us we have to "Kiss a whole lot of frogs" and by that I mean we have to experience things which are sometimes painful, unpleasant and hurtful.
We have to go from one relationship to another, one job to another before we find out who we really are, what we are really made of and what pathway we should take in order for our physical, mental and spiritual well being to be aligned.

I am certainly in the category of needing to have kissed a whole lot of frogs!

Resource:- http://musiconnx.com/2013/01/a-froggy-kiss-is-such-a-special-thing/frog-kisser/

In fact this started from childhood.  It is rare for me to share my story... not because I am ashamed, because I have any unfinished emotion that I need to get through... it is just simply because it is boring.

It is boring because it is not uplifting, it is not positive, it is not a rose filled garden with wonderful scents and wildlife, instead is a weed and thorn ridden garden with entrapment and scary creatures.

However, it is my story and now at the ripe age of 38 I realise that actually for many it is uplifting, it is inspirational, it is empowering.  Not because of what I went through but because even as a child I flatly refused to believe that it was right, I was not going to let it define me.  Because I had an inner knowing that what I was experiencing was not how life was meant to be.

It is hard to think back now to when I knew things were not right but let's just say I had an inner sense of right and wrong from pretty much the very start and it was strong... really strong as if there was no other option it was just either right and acceptable or wrong and unacceptable.  And my Mum was wrong!  I genuinely remember looking at her when I was 5 years old and thinking "you are wrong, that is not how you treat people".  It was at that very moment I decided I would be the opposite of her... at 5!  Yes a mere 5 years old, how did I know?  I really could not tell you apart from I just knew inside.

Curiosity Killed the cat or in the this case should have killed the child within...

I was a curious child, I was fascinated by everything, I wanted to know how it worked why it worked.
Apparently this was not conducive to what my Mum thought a child should be... No, I should be like my sister, I should sit where I was and stay there without saying a word until I was told otherwise but ummm no, I was just not wired that way.

It landed me in a lot of trouble, EVERYDAY!  I was either locked in my bedroom mainly without food or drink, or I was shut outside the back door, I was once locked in the attic and on one occasion I remember being chained to the bed.  I think it was safe to say my Mum really did not like me.  That should have been enough for any young child to be beaten into submission.... Just not me.

Because I KNEW, I knew wholeheartedly that I was not wrong, my questions were nothing so obscene to have caused such a reaction, my wanting to know and understand life should not have been so frustrating to have caused this response. And I knew that... again I cannot explain how I just knew with every single cell of my body and whilst I knew that and felt that I would not be beaten.

Of course I spent many hours crying, I soon learnt that actually this did nothing but give me a headache.  I also learnt that an apology was not really all that helpful either as I either said it wrong, or looked wrong when saying it or basically I was just not believed and probably rightly so as I knew I had done nothing wrong!  I have one of those faces that just says exactly what I am thinking as if it is written in permanent ink in capital letters.

This section of my life is long... very long and the remainder shall be shared on another occasion but there was a lot of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. So on life experiences from a young age I again metaphorically "Kissed a lot of Frogs".

As I grew up I also had what I shall call unhealthy relationships, not that I realised at the time but I was with people that did not respect and treat me properly but hey this could also be because as I grew up I started to then believe that everyone else was important but I wasn't!

I married, had a baby, got divorced all in the space of just over 3 years.  I was on my own with a 5 month old baby who was the most beautiful precious thing in the world but I had failed her (in my eyes anyway) I had never wanted to have a broken family as I knew what that was like after all my Mum was divorced twice and married three times.  I did not want to be anything like her, yet here I was with a young child, divorced and penniless.

Now during this period of my life I was by no means well off, oh no, I struggled to pay bills, have enough money for food, in fact there was many a time where I did not eat just so I knew Kiesha had enough to eat and yet if I did not have enough money to cover my bills - something would happen so they always (just) got paid!

The Beginning of the Up... Well Sort of...

My life began a turn around when I met Nick, Kiesha by this time was nearly 2 years old and Nick and I were together for 10.5 years.  He was my soulmate, the person I loved unconditionally, yet I would still feel inadequate on the work front.  He was a pilot and was paying for Kiesha and myself and although he was more than happy I always felt guilty as if I needed to contribute to prove my worth.  Every time I did this, it cost us money in the long run, in fact any time and every time I have done this it has cost money in the long term - this is one frog I kept kissing and kissing thinking it would turn into a prince and yet it was always going to be just a common frog!

Now of course with hindsight and of course Divine sight I can clearly see why this was always doomed to fail, firstly I was still coming from a negative and just attracting more of the negative and secondly it was always moving me further and further away from what I was meant to be doing.

So, I have kissed many frogs, covering work, relationships, inner peace and more... but if I had not Kissed that many frogs, if I had not been through those experiences I would not be who I am today.  I would not be on this path.  I would have less empathy, understanding, insight, knowledge of the Human Psychological mind and it's depths to do the most amazing and wonderful things and on the contrast the most horrid and wicked things.

I would not change a thing...

People have always looked at me blankly when I have said I would not change any of the experiences I have had.  They have helped me to get to a greater understanding, a deep awareness of others and myself.  Every single experience has been played out before me to learn from, to find the light in so I can help others to find the light in the darkness and my friends it is there, it is shining brightly for you.  If you cannot see it yet then find the path that leads you to it.

Please do let me know of your experiences of inner knowing.  You can connect with me by leaving a comment or connecting with me through my facebook page
